Technology in the Classroom

I find that technology is becoming more and more common throughout our everyday lives and as well as the classroom. As generations grow and improve, I think it is important that as teachers, we adjust our teaching styles and classroom settings as well. New studies show that roughly 80% of teachers turn to the internet to find fun activities, photos, or even videos to prompt student engagement. I love how technology has become such a resource and a huge benefit to how we are able to work in the classroom. As teachers, we can learn from and with each other to help find better ways to teach our students in the future. As the world is changing, we should too. We hold the future in our classrooms so we should be doing everything we can to maximize their opportunity for success. I look forward to finding other platforms and resources to help benefit myself as well as future teachers.
